The brief
Show a car the way a premium automotive ad would: not a turntable, but a story. Speed, tension and the character of the vehicle had to come through in every frame, entirely in CG.
The approach
We treated it like a live-action shoot. Every shot was planned with real camera language, including low tracking shots, long-lens compression and handheld energy in the chase. The car was animated with believable weight transfer and suspension, then placed in city and industrial environments lit for mood.
- Vehicle realism: paint flake and clearcoat, tyre deformation, and glass with real thickness.
- Atmosphere: volumetric fog, tyre smoke and light shafts to sell depth and speed.
- Post-production: colour grade, motion blur and sound design in the edit for a film-quality finish.
The result
A polished short film that reads like a commercial, and a reusable car asset that can produce new shots, stills and cut-downs for social without another shoot. This is the same pipeline we use for product launch films and CGI ads for brands.
