3D Product Rendering
Photoreal 3D product rendering for brands & e-commerce
Escape Reality creates photoreal 3D product renders, from white-background e-commerce packshots to hero ad visuals, exploded views and lifestyle scenes, from your CAD files, drawings or just photos. Once your product is modelled, new angles, colourways and scenes cost a fraction of a reshoot, and visuals can be ready before the product is even manufactured.
What you get
- E-commerce packshots on white (Amazon/Shopify-ready)
- Hero & campaign key visuals
- Colourway, material & SKU variants
- Exploded & technical views
- Lifestyle scenes with full environments
- 360° turntables & short product animations
Who it's for
- E-commerce & Shopify / Amazon brands
- Consumer electronics, beauty & beverage brands
- Ad & marketing agencies needing CGI for campaigns
- Product designers pitching before manufacturing
Typical timeline: First renders usually in 3–7 working days, depending on product complexity and number of shots.
What you get
Photoreal stills and animations of your product at any angle, in any finish, on any background. That covers clean e-commerce packshots on white, moody hero shots for a launch, exploded technical views, material and colour variants, and lifestyle scenes with full environments. Once the model exists, extra angles and variants cost a fraction of a reshoot.
Why brands switch from photography to CGI
- Launch-day ready: visuals exist before tooling, so marketing doesn’t wait for samples.
- Change anything: a new colour, finish or label is an afternoon, not another studio day.
- One look across the catalogue: identical lighting across every SKU, which is very hard to hold across photo sessions.
- Shots a camera can’t get: exploded views, cutaways, floating products and macro details.
Hard-surface and automotive specialists
Cars, electronics and mechanical products are where CGI is hardest, and where we are strongest. That means correct reflections, believable paint and clearcoat, glass with real thickness, brushed and anodised metals, and rubber that doesn’t read as plastic. See THE ESCAPE and the Field Recorder for that material craft.
| 3D rendering | Photoshoot | |
|---|---|---|
| Product must exist | No (CAD, drawings or photos are enough) | Yes, finished samples needed |
| New colourway or angle | Hours, reuse the model | Book another shoot |
| Consistency across SKUs | Perfect, same lighting setup | Hard across sessions |
| Impossible shots (exploded, x-ray, floating) | Easy | Very hard or impossible |
| Best for | Launches, catalogues, ads, variants | Real-people lifestyle, food |

3D Product Rendering: FAQ
Is 3D rendering cheaper than a product photoshoot?
For most launches, yes, especially once you count multiple angles, colourways and reshoots. The model is built once and reused, so every campaign after the first costs much less.
Can you render a product that has not been manufactured yet?
Yes. From CAD files or drawings we produce final campaign visuals before the first physical unit exists. That is one of the main reasons brands use CGI for launches.
What do you need from me to start?
Ideally CAD files (STEP, OBJ, FBX) or technical drawings, plus photos of finishes and your logo artwork. If you only have the physical product, clear photos from several angles with dimensions are enough.
What resolution do you deliver?
Whatever the medium needs: web-optimised, 300 dpi print-ready, or large format for billboards. We confirm outputs before rendering so nothing is upscaled after.
Can you do Amazon and Shopify packshots in bulk?
Yes. Once a product family is modelled, consistent packshots across every SKU and variant are fast to produce, which makes large catalogues very efficient.
Do you work with clients outside Sri Lanka?
Yes. We are a remote-first studio and work with clients in any country. We communicate in English over email, Slack, Discord or calls and overlap with both European and Asian working hours.
